Currency: United States Dollar (USD)

Time Zone: The USA spans multiple time zones, including Eastern Standard Time (EST), Central Standard Time (CST), Mountain Standard Time (MST), Pacific Standard Time (PST), and more.

Seasonal Highlights: The USA’s vast size means that different regions have different climates and the best time to visit varies. Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are generally considered pleasant times to visit, with mild weather and fewer crowds. However, each state and region has its own unique attractions and best times to explore, so it’s essential to plan accordingly based on your desired experiences and destinations within the USA.

Passport and entry permit

ESTA

Travelers that travel under the VWP (Visa Waiver Program) are allowed to travel to USA on holiday and stay up until 90 days without a visa. Before traveling to the U.S. under the VWP, eligible travelers are required to complete an ESTA application online. The application collects biographic information, travel details, and security-related questions. ESTA helps enhance the security of U.S. borders by pre-screening travelers and identifying any potential security risks before they board their flights.

Upon successful approval, an ESTA is valid for two years or until the traveler’s passport expires, whichever comes first. However, travelers must reapply for ESTA if any of their previously provided information changes or if they obtain a new passport. It is important to note that an approved ESTA does not guarantee entry into the U.S., as the final decision lies with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the port of entry.

The passport needs to be valid for the duration of your stay in America. The electronic passport has a certain symbol at the front and an in-beaded electronic chip.

An E-passport is the same thing as a biometric passport.
